About Cooling Wind Base & Stack Cooling
Our wind bases are a highly efficient alternative to your existing models. Our version boasts a wide-angle opening flap, identically sized openings for inlet and outlet and fully machined internal surfaces to reduce air turbulence and pressure which enables them to achieve 30% higher air flow for optimal mould cooling and increased efficiency. These are manufactured from steel but in an effort to reduce the weight of moving parts and add to the lifetime of the product, the flap is made of aluminium. To ensure our wind bases are as efficient as possible, the base plate is re-machined following final assembly to ensure it sits flat on the section box preventing any air from escaping when in operation.
Stack cooling parts are also available. Our products are made from steel rather than cast making them less susceptible to damage following any impact and easier to repair. A wide range of styles and designs are available and we can also create products to a customer’s design. Available for all standard machine sizes
